I mean, bonuses were down. I suppose I’ll console myself by purchasing a bunch of paper assets and watching them accumulate. My unseemly sacrifice is the prestige of such an automobile at the expense of appreciating capital. What good is this bank account unless I can spend it? My regrets are manifest.
